18 ^aLet no one deceive himself. ^bIf anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.

3 For ^cif anyone thinks he is something, ^dwhen he is nothing, he deceives himself.

26 If anyone thinks he is religious ^eand does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s ^freligion is worthless.
